Made popular by movies like American History X, and games like Gears of War, the curb stomp is a violent move, inteded solely to kill or paralyze the victim. While in GeOW the enemy does something along the lines of explode violently, let us explore what actually happens. Scenario 1: For whatever reason, you have decided to curb stomp some unfortunate. You have rendered him fairly helpless, probably through cranial damage. You drag his semi concious body to a handy curb or raised object made of a strudy material. You open his jaw, and place his open mouth on the curb, as though he were biting it. Stand behind him, preferably on his back, lift what you consider to be your stronger leg, and step down upon the middle of the rear of his head as hard as you can. Depending on the force of your leg, either you will break his teeth, or remove his lower jaw. Good job, you're going to jail for assault. Scenario 2: Same setup as before, except this time, you line up the curb with the top of his nose. Then, with your weak foot on his lower back, grasp his hands in yours, pull back so that his upper half is off the ground, place your other foot on the back of his head, and imultaneously let go of his hands, and place all your weght on that one foot. Once his face meets the curb, you're probably going to find yourself standing on a layer of brain matter. Don't wear your good clothes. Also, congrats on going to jail for Murder. While in games this seems like an entertaining option, in reality, it's difficult to pull off, and bystanders will often attempt to stop you, if they guess your actions. BTW, don't go see Norbit, it's the worst movie ever, and the inspiration for this post.

Curb stomping is popular with white supremacists, thus it got into American History X. I don't know why it's in GOW...

1.) I saw Norbit, should have been rated R, but it was ok.
2.) I don't think the curb stomp in Gears of War is anything like what you are describing. That's just stomping on some monsters head. They did that in Resident Evil 2 and beyond as well.

Well, Eddie Murphy is more funny when he can use the entire spectrum of swears. That's the only reason for Rated R.

And you're saying a curb stomp is simply any way of stomping someone or something's head? Because I've always had a different impression of it than just a simple stomping on.

It's not that it should be rated R by the Rating Board, I mean it would have been better had it been Rated R in the first place, you know, more profanity and such.

You can go to wikipedia if you like, but the curb stomp is used to refer to extreme pressure placed on an individuals head when said head is aligned with a solid object, namely a curb.

Ok, so curb stomping is violent, so is shooting somebody,hitting someone with a car. What was the point of all this, to not see Norbit. If so, well you've done your job, because I have no intent to see it.

Yea that was pretty bunk, but I had higher expectations for Sammy Jackson in a R movie though, so the fall was higher and the landing hurt more.
