He looks absolutely amazing. He has a white face, and a badly gashed faced that looks somewhat like a smile. This is an official picture off the website 'ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com'. Heath Ledger was a great choice for the Joker. Here are the pics:

From what ive heard, Scarecrow (who will also be in this movie and will team up with The Joker) will try and use his fear gas on The Joker, but it will have no effect. Joker will then turn on Scarecrow and beat him to death with a chair. This will show how deeply he has fallen into psychosis...

Bad quality yes, but I think Nolan has got the Joker look down great. He's going for a more dark and sinister Joker, not a laughing idiot like Nicholson's Joker (which is how he is SUPPOSED to be).

Yeah, definitely. That 'spoiler' from my original post is only a rumour. Batman will have a new suit and a new Batmobile in TDK.

Me neither, but the Joker did kill a Robin and turn another into Nightwing. That's a bit sadistic to me. The whole "killing the Scarecrow" thing is crummy, though. He's not a main villian, but the villians of Batman don't fight each other...that's what Venom, Carnage and the entire series of Xmen is for.

It isnt. That is an unknown actor off a fan made Batman show. You can watch it on youtube. Ledgers Joker wont have crappy nose/chin extensions or such bad make up (not to mention acting).

Cillian Murphy is being coy about it and hasnt said that he isnt in TDK. Check the latest articles on batman-on-film.com and see for yourself. It may just be a cameo of him as a prisoner in Arkham, or he could be the one who develops the Joker's poisons...

He will be wearing a dark purple suit, but it wont look like Jack Nicholsons suit in Batman 89', itll be more messed up and raggety looking. The only things permanent about his physical appearance are his white skin, and his gashed mouth (which Batman may or may not be the cause of in the movie). He dyes his hair green and puts the lipstick on himself. I agree, he looks amazing.

Bourbons, there are a lot of people that like Nicholson's Joker, youre not the only one. I however, dont like it. Its too different from the comic book Joker. Chris Nolan's Joker is much more like the original 1940's Joker.

He willbe insane, but not Jack Nicholson insane. I imagine he will laugh a lot, but he will be more dark and menacing rather than jovial and idiotic. BTW, I love The Killing Joke, I have an original 1988 printing of it :wink:

When The Joker was first introduced in 1940, he was a dark and menacing maniac that enjoyed mass murder/killing spree's. He didnt really laugh a whole lot. He did smile a lot though. After a few years DC decided to tone down the Joker so Batman didnt seem so useless. They changed him into a harmless, cackling nuisance, which is how he is portrayed in modern comics and in Batman 89'. Nolan is more old school, so the Joker will also be. It will make him more intimidating and scary. I think the way theyve done Ledger's make up makes him look more dark and evil, and when he smiles he look absolutely hideous/frightening. That combined with a love of robbery and mass murder will make him the best film Joker to date.

Ew, no way, that make up looks horrible :x The nose and chin extensions are laughable, they look so fake. Also the skin just looks like paint, rather than bleached skin which is how it is supposed to be...That guy did an alright job as the Joker though, you can check out some of their fan made Batman films on youtube...

I agree about Batman Begins. Nolan's ability plus great actors and great plot = best super hero movie ever. Spider-Man 3 was lame...

He looks amazing and I'm excited to see him on screen.

Even if they are rumors they could be true, this site has spoiler tags for a reason and you keep saying things in a matter of fact way like "They ARE making Batman like this" "Batman WILL have a new batmobile." At least say you just "heard it" maybe cite your sources before making all these claims and use the damn spoiler tags!

Either way, Joker looks good and fits the style presented in Batman Begins - real world - not fantasy crap.
