i'm not tryna be part of the tdk loving crowd here (even though i loved the movie) but the soundtrack is absolutley amazing, does anyone else agree? after listining to the piece "A Dark knight" i feel that it allmost tells the entire story through the music, and the piece why so serious is very well done aswell it has an amazing way of building tension.

so does anyone agree?

I'm downloading it now, I loved the song at the end of the movie when Batman is riding his motorcycle. Gave me the chills.

I agree with what you said. I liked Heath's performance so much though, that I saw it 3 times in theaters.

IYO, IYO, IYO and IYO

TDK crossed a huge line that no super hero movie has done before. The closest one was V for Vendetta. TDK was an amazing movie that had a huge level of depth, and all acting was great. I have a huge level of respect for the intellectuality of the movie along with the morality and level of sophistication it brings into the mainstream audience and magnitude to a typical "blockbuster" hollywood movie.

110% agreed. This film is a 7.0/10 and I daresay I kind of enjoyed Iron Man more since it wasn't hyped to the Dickens.

And I thought otherwise. Yes I loved the movie. Yes I loved Heath Ledger's Joker. But do I love the movie just because of that? No. I loved the story that was told throughout. I loved Aaron Eckhardt in the film. I loved how it showed chaos against law. And when the movie wanted to leave you on the tip of your seat, it succeeded. Going to save Harvey and Rachel after The Joker is captured. Saving the hostages from Joker's henchmen who were dressed up as docs, all while defending them from the SWAT teams.

It, as a whole, is terrific. Oh, and I'll let you know that I wrote a parody of The Dark Knight for an SNL-type show earlier this year, and nowhere did I put "Why so serious?" You should be proud of me. :D

EDIT: And yes, the soundtrack is incredible. I've been wanting to purchase it off iTunes for a while now but I keep getting sidetracked.

Yes, Dark Knight was too ambitious and ultimately it fell flat. The amount of fanboys didn't help it.

One of the worst soundtracks for a major motion picture. There's no memorable composition, and Batman's leitmotif is... so bland.

Also, the Joker is Beetlejuice.

I actually thought the soundtrack was pretty average and run of the mill. I've seen it four times and I don't remember anything special about the music.

For some movies with incredible soundtracks check out anything Ennio Morricone.

i know they werent zombies, they were infected with a disease, they never dropped down and died, but people will still put the film in the "zombie movie" genre like they do with planet terror, because the whole "earth in pandemic, people infected, traveling in packs, eating the living further spreading the infection" is a concept that Romero made popular

anything involving cannibalistic humans, hunting down the living will always be put in the zombie category and will always be dubbed a "Rip" because Romero did it first, there were no zombies in 28 days later, but its plot is similiar to a zombie film, and was inspired by a zombie film like planet terror was, which is why its called one, but w/e i hope 28 weeks later was the last one they make, i hate that they destroyed the resident evil movies, but honestly i enjoyed the first Resident evil movie over 28 days later, though i still think the Resident evil movies were suck, 28 days had no substance, a weak plot, boring characters, little action, no scare/suspense facto whatsoever, i watched it atleast 3 times to make sure i was not being too hard on it

To each their own. I thought 28 Days Later had an amazing atmosphere, and had a few memorable moments for the horror genre.

That's actually a "remake" you can say of The Omega Man. In 28 Days Later, as I recall never said it was a Global pandemic, just in London or all of England. They were not mutants or zombies, just people infected with the "rage virus," which acted like rabies. Like Sammy said, if you can call it a zombie movie, then I think 28 Days Later is probably one of the best if not the best I've seen.

i think any film involving a "last man on earth" post apocalyptic feel is similiar to 28 days later, simply because 28 days later wasnt the first, the film didnt do anything new, the director said himself he was heavily inspired by the omega man :/, the film clearly ripped off several

But he wasn't the "last man on earth." And Danny Boyle was actually inspired by George A. Romero's "...of the Dead" movies ;)

The movie was pretty good, but I do believe it was way overrated due to Heath's death. The soundtrack was pretty good, I enjoyed it more than some of the soundtracks in other action movies.

i think i already said all movies similiar to that would be inspired by George Romero lol, but i believe danny said he was inspired by the screenplay of the omega man, which is obvious espeacialy in the begining
