The Devil Wears Prada - Zombie EP

Anyone here heard it? what are your thoughts? Personally I love it, I think it´s the best TDWP has made to date, can´t wait for the entire album, it´ll be beast! You´re right, the Gamespot community probably isn´t big on metalcore, I don´t mind their religion though, it doesn´t really affect their ability to make awesome music. Also, playing Left 4 Dead while listening to this, awesome!

One of my favorite bands. They definitely play their instruments better in Zombie than their previous albums and I like how heavy they went. With roots above and branches below is still my favorite album by them though.

Did Bring Me The Horizon release more songs from that album I can check out? I heard `It Never Ends´ and got a little turned off.. And also, A Day To Remember releasing a new album? Sweet!

Completely agree. Count your blessings was my favorite album and Suicide Season is great as well. I don't like the direction they're going in with their new album.. there's only maybe 3 songs I like on that album? Anthem, It Never Ends, and Alligator Blood. Idk just don't like their new album, its too "meh".. I like their heavier stuff.

What Separates me from You, comes out this Tuesday.

I just decided to listen to the newer BMTH. It sounds much more punk/hardcore which is great - now they can stop trying so hard to be metal (and failing horribly). Still a trash band though. Same goes for TDWP.

Then again I hate any sort of metalcore or deathcore.

Didn't listen to the EP yet, will make sure to do! But being a fan of BMTH since the start, I gotta disagree with most comments. It isn't as heavy as Pray for plagues, obviously, but I gotta say it isn't so bad. I was expecting complete garbage when I read that Lights was being featured. I figured then and there that they were selling out, but surprisingly it brings up a pretty sweet, unique sound.

I just respect bands for trying out something new, rather than sticking in the same old sound and getting rusty down the road.

I still respect BMTH. Their new album isn't great but it isn't terrible either.I suppose it's a good thing that they're trying something new but if they sounded good previously why change? Idk that's just my opinion but I hope they do something better with their next album, because Count your Blessings and Suicide Season were awesome.

Pretty good ep. Still think WRAaBB is their best album though.

Although Miss May I's new cd is the best metalcore album this year imo.

I'm certainly liking newer TDWP. Their older stuff just sounded so sloppy. WRAaBB is a really good album. The new ADTR stuff is meh, though. I'm disappointed at the fact that they toned down their sound. Now it just sounds so pop punk and much less heavy. =/

The funny thing is, it's actually a very solid album, their first seemed kinda "Hey Gunther, wanna make a band?" "Yeah sure, but lets be 100% non-serious about it and just screw around". It seems like they're actually trying to be a good band now, and i love almost every song on the album, om nom nom.
