Well I didn't read the article but it COULD be the case.

Sheen was going on about winning. Maybe this is what he meant by winning? Perhaps he has waged his own personal war against Japan and kicked it off with an earthquake.

It ism't too farfetched to think that he could have snorted a mountain of coke and then came up with some diabolical plan...

I never said it was exclusive to the U.S. or that it dumbed it down, but it is preocupying regardless. I can assure you that we don't have as much focus on celebrities on our main news vehicles here, in Brazil.

I think it has more to do with pop culture in general.. There are numerous fans of these people and who have seen in him movies and what not.. It effects them far more directly than say the earth quake in Japan does.
