Black hole would be a very slow death to the planet, and would be like torture to any living thing on the planet. :P At least We won't have to go through that though, the nearest black hole is pretty much dead. :P
although i forgot to mention that they can(and probably will soon) imitate self awareness(this is called autonomacy) but they will never have a "free mind" and they will not come to complex descisions to "eliminate us"
