As some of you are no doubt aware, some teenagers have chosen to make bad choices (pre-mature sex, sometimes even illegal drugs, tobacco, and pre-mature alcohol usage). Well, that is not what I am here to discuss, I merely pointed that out, because it is the tip of the iceberg, the tip which has now expanded and now collapsed in on itself, to an even more pre-mature level. My little baby brother (and perhaps a few other little kids) likes women, I mean, he is only nine years old, and he is already taking an active interest in girls. He even made a bizarre claim today, about how he has a girlfriend at school. The very thought of his interest at women at such a young age is not only disgusting, disturbing, and immoral, but it is also just plain wrong. Back in my generation (the "current" generation, one may say; in which case my little brother's generation would be the future generation), we did not get really interested in girls until around the age of 13 (the teenage age; no pun intended). This is quite disturbing, I don't like to have some little baby banging little Mary Jane (made up person) down the street. This is screwed up, and I am disgusted by it. Back in the "good old days" (I feel old whenever I say that), such things would NEVER arise. One may even say that the current (high school) generation lived in a "simpler time". It is just so disgusting and insulting to have a 9 year old interested in the opposite sex, I mean really, they are supposed to think that they have cooties or something at that age. Yet here are, in our little screwed up worlds. If you thought the teenage sex scene was bad, then look at what may become of America's future. Our founding fathers (please, don't say this is a bad example, because I know it is, it is a horrible example; be that as it may, I needed to use something to reach out to you with) did not create this country for little kids to fall in love with each other, that is saved for teenage years (and even in our teenage years, we are supposed to exercise some discretion, such as no-teen sex). Don't give me the "people used to get married at the age of 11 back in the 17th century crap, because if you say that, then you are basically saying that we have devolved (we evolved in the 1990s, if not a little sooner, and now we are beginning to devolve). I know that some of you may not even know what I am talking about, since you may not have any younger siblings, but I also know that some of you do. I hope that some of you question some what you have previously thought after reading this, and I hope that it has opened your mind. I know at the top that I said that the little kids are the only subject here, but you can also discuss how the teenage-sex thing is also screwing up the human race, if you wish. What are your thoughts on this subject? p.s. I dont know what your talking about, I liked girls from around your brothers age, its just a completely different thing nothing sexual obviously but he can still have a crush. Chances are he is just maturing faster than you did, it happens in every generation and its hardly the fall of society...
Just because your "baby" brother (who is not a baby but 9 years old) has expressed an interest in women doesnt mean he'll be doing any of the things you mentioned.

Don't worry, your little brothers interest at the opposite sex even in his relatively early age is not the downfall of humanity. I'm around your age and I got interested in girls when I was 10. Just relax and be a little open minded. I guess it all has to do where people grew up. Where I grew up teenage drinking, sex and drug use was and still is everywhere.

What the hell? A genuine interest in girls is brought about by puberty. Your brother may just be a very early starter. More likely, he's just imitating what he sees on TV, for we live in a very sexualized society. Disgusting? No. Immoral? No.

migh ti remond you that premature sex has actually been normal for over 100 years? and as for illegal drugs... hell they were once legal.. and i will give you the back in the 17th century crap.. because it is a fact...... your opinion has just been downplayed
LOL I find this funny. People have been having pre-marital sex since the beginning of time and society has actually done quite well in the past 3 millenia. In fact, the only people who think human society is coming to an end is the alarmist uber-Conservatives that glorify the "Golden Days" of pure simplicity and happiness that didn't really exist except in their own minds. (To be said in one breath)
