What is odd about it, if I might ask?

I simply do not see how one could logically believe in polytheism (or at least any form I've seen). Contradictions galore being the main issue. ...I do not like contradictions. They are not my friend.

[QUOTE="mindstorm"]Okay then, I retract my statement... btw, that's.. odd.bradleybhoy
:lol: Anyway... yeah it occured to me the other day 'What if I do exist for a reason? I don't know what it is!' The thought freaked me out momentarily but then I went back to being an agnostic existentialist and everything was just peachy.

lol, have fun with that. :P

What contradictions are there in polytheism?

I do not study polytheism very much as I have never spoken to one so my understanding is small. Let's say two polytheists are speaking about their gods. Imagine this conversation: "GodA is the god of fire!" "Really, I thought that was his mother's husband?" "Oh, that's because he is the same person!" "Hmm, I thought that was GodB?" "Oh, it's the same god." Generally speaking, the typical polytheist is not bothered by this. Amidst a pantheon of innumerable gods, contradictions are the norm. They might not be bothered by this, but I am. Keep in mind that I study mythology very rarely so I could be way off here....

How do you think you've seen God?X4D

I can't exactly explain how but I'm constantly hearing voices in my head. And people also act strangely like they're reading my mind and thoughts.

I don't mean to come off as a jerk, but I think that's called schizophrenia.

lol, that's what happens when I don't know what I'm talking about. :P Basically, the facts about each of the gods within a polytheistic religion often contradict in the details especially if there are a multitude of gods.

I can't really argue for or against that, because I don't know enough about any polytheistic religion to do so :P.

All that I know is that The Iliad and The Odyssey are two of my favorite books of all time :D.
