The Greatest Sith Lord

In your opinion who is the best? Based on power, coolness ect. I honestly can't decide. I kinda like Dooku and Vader. I would choose Vader cause he is just more evil. But Yoda could pwn all these Noobs.

Or another Sith Lord like Darth Bane?

I know that he was a Sith Lord many many years before the movie however.

Though, Sidious was the most devious.

My choice of Sith Lord would be a tie between Darth Revan and Darth Sidious. Both were potent force-users, and both were brilliant strategists; the former in war, and the latter in politics.

IMO these two are the most formidable Sith the SW galaxy has seen yet.

Ya, he would have been an awesome character to make it through a couple of more movies. George Lucas should have just made some other less awesome sith lord to be killed. And Obi-wan is cool but that seen was just like "WTH" If anything he should have pulled down a peice of metal onto Maul to kill him, but not fly out of a hole.

I don't think any Sith Lord in the Star Wars universe compares to Darth Sidious, a.k.a. the Emprorer. He was a master of deceipt, and used it effectively playing a double role for most of his life. The payoff was taking over the Republic using its own democratic mechanisms.

Ever since Darth Bane, there are always two sith lords, the master and the apprentice. One of them is expected to kill the other eventually in an act of betrayal.

Greatest, as in the most awesome? Revan, with Vader a close second

Greatest, as in the most powerful? Bane, Revan, Sidious, Exar Kun or Caedus... If I had to say one then probably Bane from what we've seen so far of him, can't wait for the next book though.

Maul is the most badass, but Palpatine accomplished more than just about any other Sith.

Well in episode 1 fighting started to get faster, so if Vader was in the newer episodes he would proably be a faster fighter to soI think he would win.

Edit: I've never really dived into Bane at all so I wouldn't know much about him. He made the rule for only one master and apprentice though so he seemed quite smart.

Darth Maul was the most badass but I'd have to go with Vader in overall power.

I'd say Darth Maul, he's actually intimidating and he has the dual lightsaber, which was absurdly awesome.

Darth Revan is my favorite Sith as for the greatest or most powerful, its clearly Darth Sidious

Yes, but if I left out the most famous ones from the movies like Maul, Vader, Palpatine and Dooku, people would be like "Where is Maul ETC" and I dont know who the kotors are so its just other.

Darth Maul is the best in terms of originality.

Darth Vader will forever be my favorite, I just like the storyline really. As far as the greatest though out of those, probably Darth Sidious.
