Interesting. I've never played Halo, so maybe now I can see what all the fuss is about.

The project was called off. At least thats what I thought.

Anyways, I think they put a stop on it but then gave it the green light again.

As of now, the film is still dead. However, Peter Jackson has said that he will find a way to make the film. I don't think it's gonna happen for awhile, so for those of you you anticipating the film...you're gonna be waiting for awhile.

I thought it was cancelled (or at least on hold)

I say they get Steve Downes in a MJOLNIR suit and make him play Master Chief. Old or not, most other people don't have that nice, gruff voice that we all know and love. Christian Bale works, too, but he's too caught up in Batman remakes :roll:

For Johnson they could use Jamie Foxx. Will Smith doesn't have the looks or thevoice. Foxx has the looks and a somewhat distorted version of the voice.

For Cortana, they need to usethe in-game model, and Jen Taylor's voice. She's only going to be a hologram anyways, so why the hell not?

He could find another way to bring the movie to life, perhaps in animated form. But as far as a live action movie with Universal and Fox being the studios that were initially supposed toput it out, I don't think it's gonna happen.

I hope not...the Halo movie trailer last E3 was pretty impressive because it used real life people, and an animation film just wouldn't cut it. It would leave a lot of Halo fans disappointed.

Who should play the roles in the 2009 Halo movie. I could see Cate Blanchett playing the role of Cartana, because Blanchett was very good in LOTR as Galadriel. For Master Cheif maybe Christian Bale, because he has that very rough voice that he uses for Batman. Maybe Will Smith or Jamie Fox for Johnson. Who do you think should have the roles of each charecter. giyanks22
