The Halo Movie is back under Stephen Spielberg

Can't say I'm all that excited. I got tired of hearing about this franchise after all the hype for the third game.

Hmm, hopefully this will be the first movie based on a game that might actually be mildly entertaining to watch.

I might even watch it.

Lets hope this one doesn't die with the first Halo movie, Bioshock, and more then likely the Metal Gear Solid Movie.

While I'm not a huge fan of the games I love the Halo universe. I hope they don't **** it up.

Spielberg's a great director (shhhhh! War of the Worlds never happened! :x) and the Halo games are great. I really don't know how this can end up being bad.

I have to admit, I'm a bit psyched. I've always thought the story to the Halo series was great and with a great director like Spielberg at the helm it should at least be a decent movie. Just think of the epic battles they could have, both on the ground and in space. Honestly though, I think Peter Jackson would have been a better director for this movie, Lord of the Rings was epic incarnate. If they do a good job of the first movie, they could probably turn it into a trilogy. First movie would be the fall of Reach, second would probably be a combonation of the plot of Halo 1 and Halo 2 (ex. Gravemind, covy civil war) and the third would be Halo 3.

I don't know why you would make a halo movie. Its a great game but the story is nothing special. If your gonana make a movie about a game choose something with a good story.

It's not so much the directing. More so, the mediocre story and script. But my point still remains. It's the only movie he directed that ended up being garbage.

There is. But the movie has been in production for a much longer time. And it actually has a chance of being good.

Thats good, I can't think of a bad movie that spielburg made. Except I hated ET. Boring as ell.

sweet. I'll go see it no matter how horrible it might be. But I got a feeling that it will be somewhat decent.
