I'd appreciate a little less Bieber infused into my life. I'm honestly trying hard to ignore him, but now I even have to see threads here about why I should like him.

maybe it's because you can't go 30 minutes in OT without a freakin thread dedicated to him....his acting is subpar...his singing voice is shallow...but then again...if you think Usher is the apex of talent....then by all means...enjoy....

He's not that great of an actor, he's a pretty good singer, and in 5 years no one will care about him, but yes I agree the hate is stupid. He's the same as 10,000 other popstars before him.

The more widespread someone's work is the more likely people are to hate it, simple because more people with a variety of tastes are exposed to it.

Given that the fact that

A. People won't shut up about him (especially teenage girls)

B. His music is terrible

C. He's arrogant

means that he's going to attract even more people who actively dislike him for being popular.
