I forbid everyone in OT from watching that trailer. I have spoken.mrmusicman247I'm totally watching it. XD
The concept is quite disturbing :S I heard about the first one but didn't watch it, and I don't really want to see this one.
Lol, I love how it says banned in Britain, at least they know better than to let people waste their money on movies that are worse than independant college films. They're really trying to push it as a cult movie, but nearly every cult classic just sort of happened (i.e. The Big Lebowski, and possibly Cowboys & Aliens in the future).
It basically looks like the first one except with more people and a mockumentary/self-reflexive angle thrown in. Also, is the whole film going to be in black and white or is that just the trailer?megagene
From what I've heard, the whole film is in black and white, except for one scene. The dude botches the centipede job at first, so we get one color scene of poop coming out of a person's mouth (because he did a bad stapling job).
Aside from that one scene, the whole movie is in black and white (or so I've heard).
Anyway, I have no interest in these movies. I'm not going to say that they are bad (since I'll never watch them), but the entire premise just seems like vile trash that isn't really worth my time. I may be wrong about that, but hey...it's my loss and I'm willing to live with that.
[QUOTE="Just-Breathe"]Pure trash with no redeeming qualities other than to disgust people and generate controversy. PlaminoThat would be the selling point of it. Sad isn't it?

I want to watch it simply because it's been banned in my country (England) I only know of 3 other films that have been banned here so this film must be pretty bad
The question is why you get modded for having a girl in bikini as sig but not giving links to exploitation films.
Cow4ever
It depends on the content.
Which begs the question: did you report it? Doing that would like... put a clear mark on the content so that a mod who maybe isn't at work could review the link and decide if it's ok, in the grey, or put away.

Well it doesn't bother me that much so I don't feel like reporting it. All I'm saying is it bother me more than a girl in a bikini. But that's off topic cliche discussion sorry![QUOTE="Plamino"][QUOTE="Just-Breathe"]Pure trash with no redeeming qualities other than to disgust people and generate controversy. Transformers, for example, was really just a bunch of guns and explosions with little to no substance. But the point is that a significantly large number of people were entertained.
[QUOTE="Plamino"][QUOTE="Gaming-Planet"]So is this like a reboot? How do you make a sequel of the same movie?MushroomWigI'd recommend watching the trailer, but I'll provide a short description if you don't want to: An obsessed British fat man by the name of Martin watches the first film and becomes sexually obsessed with it. Driven by this, he creates his own human centipede, but with a 12 person chain. It's set in the UK? Makes sense why it was banned.Isn't it a British film with a Dutch director?

edit: works now. Yeah, it's more disgusting and cruel.
I can't think of another reason, even Twilight wasn't banned here.MushroomWig
Unless you are referring to another movie called Twilight, one that isn't based on a series of books about Mormon Vampires, then I don't get how the two are related. They are both terrible, but they impede my viewing pleasure for entirely different reasons.

But the fact it is banned is idiotic and stupid there is alot of memorable or impactful movies that contain grotesque or obscene scenes. Irreversible, I stand Alone, Salo and many more are much worse in terms of shock than the pile of crap this is yet are out here even A serbian Film is out here, though that has some cut scenes.[QUOTE="MushroomWig"][QUOTE="Plamino"] I'd recommend watching the trailer, but I'll provide a short description if you don't want to: An obsessed British fat man by the name of Martin watches the first film and becomes sexually obsessed with it. I'm just saying how worse movies have made it into the cinemas here...Twilight included.I'm pretty sure that it wasn't banned, just that it didn't receive a certification by the ratings board.
I'm pretty sure that it's sort of like the NC-17 situation in the USA. Like, Showgirls wasn't approved for an R rating, but that doesn't mean that the movie was banned.

I believe that if a film is refused classification in the UK, that means it is illegal to sell or show said film.
Nope in the UK if it does not grant a certificate then majority of the time I think the movie cannot be distributed the age rating here is more lenient in the UK so bad stuff can still gain an "18" certificate but it has to be special not warrant a certificate meaning no release. Saying that their are ways around it mostly importing on watching online.I'm pretty sure that it wasn't banned, just that it didn't receive a certification by the ratings board.
