What does OT think? I was curious about Jennifer Lawrence's casting in this film, but it looks pretty good so far :)

I'd see it. And while it is an Action/love story. I hope it actually stays true to the book. With equal amounts of action and romance. Don't make it like Twilight or anything.

You guys do realize that this "trailer" is only a teaser trailer, and the film is still shooting, right? Shouldn't have expected much.sammyjenkis898

I read the first book and loved it. I was told the other two books ruined it all so I never read them.

I also heard they're spliting up the series into four movies (Why do they need to do this? WHY?).

So far the movie looks good and I will see it, but I'm not to crazy over some of the casting. Peeta and Gale look too old, though Katniss looks perfect.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how that book could be anything like Twilight.Sajo7

i remeber i was in an english class my senior year of highschool and we had to do a book report presentation type thing. and this one person did theirs on the book The Hunger Games, and it was really interesting.almost made me get the book and read it:P

It still wasn't a very good trailer though. But I have high hopes for the movie.

Oh, and did you guys here, they're aparently going to film catching fire for a 2013 release.

lol I just read 100 pages of the book. Very good so far. Will be watching the movie.

I only read the first book in the trilogy, and I didn't like it nearly as much as everyone else did. I may read the other two books some day, but I don't really feel motivated to right now.

I think this series could have been better if each book was about 900 pages. The world, story, and relationships could be fleshed out 10x and it would be a much better series. I am really interested in the world that was created, but it just isn't as detailed as I would like it to be. Hopefully the movie is good and BTW I don't like Peeta.
