Ive always been a huge fan of The Starting Line. Especially their new CD Direction. Ive been listening to his side project Person L, and they are pretty sweet. But some other bands, not really of the same genre would be Matt Costa, John LaMonica. Jimmy Eat World's new album is pretty good too.

well, you said In Flames, the way i see it, there are 2 types on In Flames fans; the ones who like the newer stuff (which id border line Metalcore) or their older stuff (which is actually pretty good Melodic Death Metal) so i'll just go ahead and post some good (imo) Melodic Death Metal Bands;
