The Joker "nurse" scene

I may be wrong on this one, but was the scene in the Dark Knight, where the Joker is dressed as a nurse, and shoots a guy that walks into the room in the hospital, supposed to be a nod to a similar scene in another movie? I say that because I am positive I remember seeing someone's sig on this site a long time before The Dark Knight came out, and they had a very very similar shot to that one Dark Knight scene, except it was not a joker nurse, but I think just a woman holding a silenced weapon towards the camera in a hospital room.

This has been bugging me ever since I saw the movie for the first time, because I was so sure it was a nod to a shot in some earlier movie.

No, as far as I can remember, the shot this user had in their sig, was extremely similar to that same shot of the joker dressed up as a nurse. I think it was the same camera angle, maybe even the same gun, just with the joker as the nurse instead. I never forgot that person's sig, because the image was memorable and somewhat strange.

When I first saw The Dark Knight, that scene made me laugh, because I just thought Nolan was being clever by nodding or referencing the scene from another movie (the unknown movie where that user's sig came from).

EDIT: Also I don't think it's Kill Bill.

Than it's not Kill Bill. Aside from a few changes (the joker obviously), this is pretty much how I remember this user's sig image looking, and long before the TDK movie came out. It was the same camera angle, I think the lighting in the room was brighter though.

That's not a bad guess, but I've looked, and the shot does not appear to be in the movie. I just remembered, I think the nurse might have been asian in the guy's sig, it was awhile ago, I could definately be wrong about that though. Maybe it was some type of crazy asian film?

My memory might be faulty, but I don't remember California Mountain Snake killing anyone with a gun during her hospital scene... :?JustPlainLucas

Damn, I wish I knew who the user was... :(

I've seen this scenario a few times in shows and movies, I know "MacGyver" had this exact scene. Murdoc was dressed as a female nurse, and turned around to kill someone in the room.
