OMG I must try this thing. So before you ask, no KFC is not selling this thing, you must make it yourself, but come on this looks and sounds ****ing delicious, and yes it's also gross and might kill you, but your tastebuds will still thank you as you lay dying from your heart attack. All it will cost you is an 8 piece bucket of chicken.

I'd probably try it. It's no more absurd than the Double Down or the Naked Chicken Chalupa.

Greasy as shit, but pretty flavorful. The NCC has two flavors now, Mild and Wild, and I actually prefer the original, the one with avocado ranch.

@JustPlainLucas:

I will try the Naked Chicken Chalupa once they open the new taco bell by my house. Hell, if they serve breakfast too I'll try it.

By the way, how is the breakfast items assuming you tried them?

Nasty. Don't get me wrong, I love me some fried chicken skin. But not as the sole thing from the chicken.

And KFC chicken skins have a tendency to be overbreaded, oil-saturated things that congeal and get soft after a certain amount of time. Would rather something with less batter were used to make this.

Except peking duck still has some meat in there. They just chop the skin up and lay it on top.

I remember liking the waffle taco (not sure they do it anymore). Their burritos are standard fare. What I really love though is the California Crunchwrap. It's just the same as the Breakfast Crunch wrap, which has eggs, hashbrowns, cheese, bacon, ham and sausage, but it also has guacamole and pico de gallo.

Just put a bunch of chicken grease and salt on a bun. There's not much to soften the fat/salt taste on fried chicken as it is, why would you want to remove what little is present?

Their breakfast is much better than the stuff they serve the rest of the day.

I showed this post to my wife. She agreed that it's disgusting, but her reaction wasn't so much revolution as "mmmm, that looks tasty".

There is such a thing as too much of a good thing ruining that good thing. Here's an example:

https://aht.seriouseats.com/2013/05/burger-bar-rossini-burger-review-las-vegas.html

I get one of these every time I go to Vegas, but I have to peel the foie gras off because it's just too much. Foie gras is basically butter made of meat, and that on top of a giant meat patty is way overkill.

That doesn't look good at all to me, and it's not because of the foie gras. Just give me lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and cheese (and maybe bacon) and I'm good.

You left out the hamburger patty, so you want a BLT?

Black truffles are amazeballs, but they are cray-cray expensive. That topping of shaved black truffles accounts for nearly half the cost of that burger (it's a $30 add-on last time I was there).

You know I listened to something that was all about truffle mushrooms and they say that one of the main enzymes in the mushrooms is something found in humans and that's why we love it so much. The enzyme can be found in our sweat, urine, and sex (I assume the secretions) and that that's what the mushrooms kind of taste like as well.

I've personally never seen black truffle mushrooms on a menu where I'm at, but I would try them out of curiousity.
