The man who betrayed Jesus has to be a traitor.  I can't make any decisions on his sainthood since I don't know the guy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gospel_of_Judas  I just read that. It states in the New Testament of the Bible, Judas was following Jesus's orders. It was a way for Jesus to be lifted from his physical constraints. An interesting perspective that I'd think difficult to accept from the other disciples' standpoints. We can only truly know if we were there though, as mainstream history is written by the victors.
