Some people call them legendary. Some people think they are scum. People seem to be really divided on this band in a love/hate way. I think they're a good band. What do you think?
I'm not saying I would try to stop them if they got back together. I would actually love it with the way TMV is going. Although I like Amputechture, Bedlam in Goliath is almost pure meh.
Their lyric are absurb, but poetically diverse in language. They just like their enormous vocabularly and can't wait to show their big vocabularies to all the girls who will say "Wow! I've never seen such an enormous vocabularly! Its bigger than Churchill's!"
My favorite song of all time is still Cassandra Gemini off Francis. If you have 30 minutes and can listen to it all in one go its a pretty amazing masterpiece i think.
It has its ups and downs, but there are parts that blow me away everytime, and the lyrics are actually very poignant i find (but as cryptic as always... just more focused).
I can't listen to them all the time, but I love them when I put em on. You just have to be in the right mood to enjoy them, it's definitely not easy listening.
