I personally prefer The New World, though both films are very good in their own ways.

I've been dying to see The New World. I know it's a love/hate film, as are most films by Terrince Mallick, but I have a feeling I would love it.

It was terribly advertised as an adventure film, when really it was a very slow paced film. It's not Mallick's best film but it is still fantastic.

What do you think his best his? I'm really looking forward to The Tree of Life.

The New World, because it is visually superior. Although both are great movies.

Badlands is my favorite of his, and Days of heaven. I wonder if Tree of life will ever come out. I thought it sounded a bit like The Fountain at first.

I hope Kevin Costner directs more films, I also liked his film Open Range. Heck I even kinda liked The Postman.

I haven't seen The New World yet, so Dances with Wolves.
