The Joker in this film is supposed to be like The Killing Joke's Joker. Nothing like Nicholson's.
That's one of the reasons why I'm looking so forward to this film.
i agree, but at the same time Nicholson's joker was pretty classic, i'll give him that
Why? He didn't even play the Joker, he just played himself with makeup on...
awww come on dude, that wasa pretty good performance, well at least i think so, you may not, his joker was insane!
No he wasn't, thats the problem. His Joker was tame, just trying to crack a gag every 5 seconds then laughing when he should of been more like a character from Clockwork Orange. In Clockwork Orange, thats the closest we've seen to a Joker so far and apparently Ledger is supposed to be like them, like the Joker actually should be. Not old, fat and trying to be a comedian...
ok...well....let me put it this way....his performance was good...for that time frame....but now that we are introduced to the different types of jokers, he was a little lame...not trying to sound like a hipocrite.....but now that u mention it...yeah....ur rite...but i think he was better than Cesar Romero, lol
Oh hell anyone was better than Romero, he didn't even shave his mustache when he got the part...
Since the Joker was first introduced he was always portrayed as a psychopath, just varying in rage, Nicholsons and Romeros Joker are both the least psychotic they Joker has been.
haha i laughed when i read that
but yeah i agree with you
