Underground bands don't just "become popular" without releasing an album to cause it.

I hate that colleges are out to milk you for money. Why the $#%@ do I have to take a physical education class AGAIN after I had one EVERY YEAR SINCE KINDERGARTEN UNTIL 12TH GRADE!!! What does art and music appreciation HAVE TO DO WITH ACCOUNTING?! Why do I have to take a chemistry class IF I'M AN ACCOUNTING MAJOR?!

Definitely. Lamb of God is very mainstream. Hell, even Amon Amarth can be considered somewhat mainstream as far as metal goes. You'll find them on music channels and Ondemand and all of that stuff. Their music videos too are very mainstream. Cradle of Filth is also mainstream.

1. Did these bands sell out?

2. Your guys' definition of mainstream is different than mine. Mainstream = on mtv, you play concerts in stadiums, etc. Metal w/ screaming will NEVER be mainstream because it does not appeal to the typical girl of any age.
