Fox News

I dont get the hatred of Fox News. Having a news network that isnt consistently bashing conservatives is bad? I think it's a good counter to MSNBC, or CNN. However, is it just me, or has CNN really lightened up on conservatives lately? I was watching it recently and it seems like CNN has actually been giving figures like John McCain more spotlight. However, MSNBC remains the poster child for liberal biased Media.
I tried thinking about what shows leaned conservative on Fox, but now that i think about it, it certainly does have a Conservative leaning trend. And then There's O'reilly, i still to this day can't tell what he is... Common enemy of both parties? I personally like Fox News however, as no doubt liberals like MSNBC. Sometimes you just want to watch news without having to worry about your party being bashed. It's not like i base political decisions off what i hear on fox news, it just is nice for "What just happened" and of course the random tidpits of news and conservative discussions.
If i were them, i'd toss "Fair and Balanced" and throw in "Conservative, and proud of it, *****es".

Where is your oxymoron :|
Oh never mind I see you mentions Billy O'Reilly he's not so much the oxy part as he is the moron part
Exactly. I don't see the problem with biased media whatever direction they sway as long as they don't pretend to be balanced so the target audience can't detect the underlying bias.I dont get the hatred of Fox News. Ah man, you guys are great. I swear the music in the second link sounds very familiar.. They did have a game expert present though and he did, in fact, defend the title. Unfortuanatly that blond bimbo hosting the Live Desk barely let him speak. But i dont think you can hold it agains the whole channel. Hell, doesnt the Parent Company even own IGN or something?
Anyone, i think trying to silence opposing views like that is just as much censorship as what you are complaining about :P Nonetheless, i agree with the hatred about that particular segment, but not the channel in general. They're bimbo's :P

See, the only problem I have with Fox News is that they claim to be "fair and balanced". This in itself is an insult to the intelligence of the average citizen, unless you're one of the idiots who actually believe it.

Actually, 'the generic you' in that sentence was pretty obvious.
And again, Fox News wouldn't be so hated if it weren't for the fact that they claim to be "fair and balanced". People wouldn't bother criticizing them if they'd just admit to their bias. This would, of course, never happen since its basically corporate suicide, but the fact that they put so much effort into slogans such as these, is probably one of the contributing factors to this hatred you speak of.
