Is it any wonder that 2 tracks by The Posies end up on the Windows Vista (Media Player) Sample Playlist?!

Both are ex-half brothers of mine.  The Posies barely made an impact on the post-grunge Seattle scene in the mid nineties, and now they are being plugged on the latest version of Winblows.

What's wrong with this picture?

Congrats to him, but it just exemplifies the power of marketing.  The proof of the pudding is whether The Posie's latest album sells any more copies over what would normally be sold.  I'm sure it will, but does it deserve it?

Junk sells if the right channel is advertizing...
