Anyone else seen this movie? I saw it today and i thought it was fantastic. There are so many twists and turns in this movie, one after the other. I really wasn't interested in the premise, but because it was directed by Christopher Nolan, and starred Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, and Michale Caine, i gave it a shot. I'm glad i did. Very glad i saw it, one of the best movies i've ever seen.

I remember watching this movie in my physic class back when I was a senior in high school. The plot was so confusing, there was so many flashback I think and the cloning was so cool.

Honestly, I'm still not going to forgive Christopher Nolan for making the ten tons o' suck that was Following until he makes a genuine masterpiece, which he hasn't.

Yeah it was one of my favorite movies of 05-06, and Bale and Jackman were great together onscreen, it doesnt hurt that Nolan is a very good director

The opening was descent. I think it was when he started taking the camera into enclosed spaces totally inappropriate for filming that the downward spiral began, climaxing into a parade of half-baked twists that contradicted each other, making me want to kick every person involved with that film in the nuts.

Thank God he cleaned his act up with Memento.

I know, I was expecting something marvelous, but it turned into a real letdown, but I wouldn't say it's as bad as you make it out to be. Good thing I saw his other films first >.>

not my cup of tea, I would have rather they didn't go off into that weird fantasy stuff at the end and just kept it realistic.

Loved the Prestige. Although, I do like The Illusionist a little more, because I'm a big Edward Norton fan.

The ending was cool. It took me a few hours to figure it out and then I had to explain it to my mom.

Except for Terrence Malick.

But, then, he hasn't had many chances to screw up, has he?

I had it figured out half-an-hour before it even happened.

Maybe I'm just a genius.

... Completely disagree, if there is ever a magician movie it is this one.. It was stylish, had a convincing story with two actors on opposite sides that were believeable.. And it had a great twist in the end, as well as a meaning in the story where ambition can pretty much cost a person their soul.. It was far better then the "american" movie (as I like to call it) the illusionist, which basically falsely incriminated a man to kill him self..

The acting was also superb.
