The "Anime stinks, there is no god, and rap isn't music" thread

I just read that "Disney" thread and felt that I should make this one. Why? I don't know...just post all your crazy opinions/beliefs on this thread. Here, I'll get you started (probably not).

- I don't watch anime.

- There could be a God.

- I've heard that some rap is good, I just don't listen to it.

Ok, I think I understand what you are saying now. So...

Anime- Not really my thing, but I absolutely love Death Note.

God- I'm Christian. I think you know what my answer is.

Rap- I like the older stuff, and I try to ignore the newer stuff.

Country and Western merges the two greatest music styles into one.

Anime kicks ass, there is a possibility for god to be real or not real, rap can be good and not good like all music genres.

- Some anime is great, others not so much
- I don't see any concrete reason why there couldn't be a God, I however think no religion has got it right.
- 'You can't spell crap without rap' I have never been a fan of rap, even the early stuff. Now it is just noise and a fad, IMO.

Post our crazy beliefs? Well, I'll start with covering yours, since I can't think of any that I have off the top of my head.

-I don't like anime. I know there are good ones out there (that I have yet to find), but it is ridiculously stigmatized. I also don't like the artstyIe or manga either.

-I am "god." I have the most control over my life, and thus I am the "supreme being" in it. Whether or not a "God(s)" with some sort of almighty power exists isn't something I'm particularly worried about, since I have yet to see a scrap of proof showing it.

-Rap can be good just like all music genres. I just think that the mainstream stuff is absolutely terrible. I also have yet to find an underground artist that I like (and I did bother to check out some of the recommendations in other threads).

Don't watch anime.
Don't believe in a god.
Don't like rap.

I used to be into anime back in the Ninja Scroll/Fist of the North Star days but I got tired of it. God is the best explanation I can think of for why all of this is possible. Saying "BANG" happened just doesn't cut it. Rap is awesome when done right. Listening to DOA by JayZ right now. Nasty track.

Anime - If they don't yell like they're constipated for 20 minutes, it's not worth watching. (OVER 9000!)

God - Lacks a clear and consistent definition, therefore no point in really considering it.

Rap - Denny Blaze is better than Kanye.

Anime- Don't watch it, don't care for it and never will either

Rap- I like The older stuff a little bit better, Now a whack rapper can easily get into the music business, some of the songs are dumb AND whack now and days but I like rap.

Hate it if a celebrity gets pregnant they'll talk about that for days. I'm happy for them but I don't want to hear them repeat the same thing over and over again for days though.

Hate it when the media bashes a celeb for something small and will stay on it for days like for example, If they see one picking their nose (which is nasty) They'll put that on the news and probably will talk about that for a while. They are people too. And I've seen people do that before it's not the first time someone has done that.

Anime - Some of it is alright. A lot of it is pretty perverted. None of it makes sense.

God - He may exist. I don't know, and don't spend too much time thinking about it.

Rap - A great formof musical poetry. It is, very much, music.

Anime- I'm not a huge fan of anime, but there have been some some animes I have watched and enjoyed.

God- Meh, maybe he exists, maybe he doesn't. I'm not religious, but I am not atheist either.

Rap- Not my thing. Though the only music I really care about is video game music (as geeky as that is...)

Anime: some is nice, ghost in the shell, akira, princess mononoke for example.

Rap: some is nice.

Anime sucks, anime fans generally anoy me lol.

God, Well I don't know, I personally don't believe but i think most athiests demanding 'proof of God' are missing the point completely.

Rap is music, Don't listen to it but it's the most popular genre of music these days.

Anime: It's okay..

God: I don't think so

-Anime: I love anime, but I only think a handful of them are really worth watching.

-God: I was raised Catholic, but then started realizing that the way religious education was teaching me to think was very detrimental to my social skills with people outside my religion. I still have respect for Roman Catholicism because from my experience they don't force its members to evangelize or proselytize. At the moment I consider myself to be an agnostic simply because I'm not sure if a supreme being exists or not.

-Rap: I think 99% of rap sucks. That remaining 1% goes to the rappers who could be considered to be poets more than anything else. Nujabes's songs don't involve drugs, gangs, sex, fighting authority, etc (subjects that far too many rap artists rap about) and have little to no profanity. For example: Love sic part 3and Think Different.

Anime - One of my hobbies.

God - Huh?......god mode?

Rap - Did you say c-......never mind.

Anime - I dabble (my non-archived folder), but I'm pretty picky about what I watch. Shounen-action in particular is a no-go for me.

God - Agnostic. You can have your God (or your conviction that one does not exist) ..just don't bother me with it.

Rap - Uhh..nope. Just about everything but rap, though.
