Yes, this is honestly very scary stuff and has many parallels with the election of Hitler. However there are some main differences in this case. 1)We have a strong system of checks and balances that prevent a president from going off the rails. 2)As you see the election votes, the # of people who voted for Hilary actually out NUMBERS the trump supporters, combined with the fact that a significant amount of liberals actually stayed home instead of voting. In this case Trump won through the electoral votes....so you can say that the Trump fans are actually the MINORITY in power. Throughout the country more of the Hilary Supporters will be abusing the Trump supporters and I think THANK GOD for that. If it weren't the case, this may have triggered world war 3.
If you want an analogy, if we go back to the germany years of right before 1938, lets say that back then the jewish population was statistically significant--say 20% of the total population. Then say that other minorities made another 20% of the population. Even if Hitler got elected into power, do you think that he would be able to do shit against the minorities? No because the minorities would have joined forces with the sane portion of the majority and brought down the country into a civil war well before Germany could have tried to start WW2.

you are mistaken, im only responding about the video that he posted. I also said that I don't think that the video is accurate because the conditions are different from then and now. We have social media, people are much smarter and more tolerant. However, even if you may not like it, the parallels are eerily similar. Hitler blamed the economic mess of the great depression on the jews, he channelled that hate towards them, when in fact the reasons for the widespread poverty were due to other reasons (WW1 reparations). the thing with trump is that for a while, every move he makes, every law he passes or bill will be examined and broken down by the media and other people. Trump has to win back votes from another right wing party i.e. Libertarians party (4 percent, normally it's 1 percent). The total swing to the right side of politics is greater than the left side.
The current system was designed as a condition for the smaller states to join the union.

Regardless, there are already some plants that use this technology in the US in its infancy. The basic principle is to use biomass for energy, ie crops, trees whatever, and then use carbon capture and storage to eliminate any carbon emissions. In this way the emissions become negative. I don't think Trump can do that or any one man or woman can do that. It sounds like a cultural seismic change that couldn't happen over night. I think politics can drive these things but I don't believe they are ever the main driver. And you know there is always blowback and pendulum swings. We aren't going to destroy PC culture and just head in that direction and never look back. I think the best way to achieve this would be true equality then it would serve no purpose.

Roughly 85% of the eligible electorate votes in presidential elections, so if 57% voted this time that would be roughly 28% did not vote
