Heck no. Fear is great. Lets you see what you and anyone in your little world is made of. Also, comical. Coming out of a tight space in a building covered in spiders and having people around you scream is one of the most comical situations one can have.
My very worst fear is that I'll end up old... and alone.
Seriously have no problem with being single and having a good time on my ownsome as I am now, but I think about living to 80+ and spending each and every day alone - even Christmas and things - have literally no-one to talk to, and the idea completely terrifies me.

Scariest thing to me is losing my memories or control of my body. Seriously all you are is a brain attached to your body, losing their basically means everything you did upuntil then, all effort put into you being raised and everything you could do in the future has been destroyed.
For me it's getting old. Having seen previously alert and self reliant relatives become frail and utterly dependant on others - I dread the day when it creeps up on me.

Well i am going to make a distinction here. First, there are things that would be the scariest to experience. In this category, I dunno. My roommate is terrified of sydney funnel web spiders, I'm pretty terrified of torture etc. Different things for different people. But in terms of things that are terrifying to contemplate and anticipate, I'm going to go with oblivion, the thought that one day the consciousness that is me will no longer exist.
