Eh, Elizabeth Taylor did a better job as Maggie's voice back in '92... you know, back when people actually cared about the show. Also, that homage to The Fountainhead would have Ayn Rand rolling in her grave.... Because it was unfunny.

But those were all just little baby words/noises. didn't she say 'daddy' in one episode? And that was it. This was just ridiculous and a complete waste, in my opinion. They could have at least made a half-way decent episode (by today's standards of the Simpsons) had they made the plot of the episode actually be about Maggie finally talking. Instead they just use it for some lame joke in a 'three story episode'. :roll:
Wow thats really lame. The first time she spoke was really well done just "Daddy" worked fine and was even a bit touching. The second time it was an obvious throwaway joke after credit scene in the movie "Sequel?". This is just poorly done and lame. I feel bad for the simpsons, used to be my favourite show and now it's just lame...
Everyone is jumping on the hate the Simpsons bandwagon. We all know it isnt as good as it used to be but its still funnier than most shows around. Also, i thought the talking Maggie scene was funny. Some of you need to let the past go. The old Simpsons is dead and its legacy cannot be 1 uped.

Because it's just embarrassing now. It's really reached the point that I can't even watch newer episodes without cringing and turning it off.

I haven't watched the whole episode which I think is the right thing to do since you could judge the context on which the scene happens. So I am not going to complain about it, not yet.

That not really hard to be better than most shows. Fox itself keep buying ideas from the idiot who created The Griffin. Now we are stuck with american dad and soon (to replaceKing of the Hill) a Griffin spin-off... Just what everyone wanted, more stupid random crap.

Pre-cancellation Family Guy and new American Dad are great, though... Family Guy has been going downhill, and American Dad was been going way uphill. The Cleveland Show I have my doubts about. Cleveland wasn't that popular of a character to begin with, was he?
