The Simpsons needs to END!

It is not as good as it used to be, people say that the simpsons movie would be the nail in the coffin but they came out with another season. Is this their last? Something tells me no, they are good for many more seasons and haven't lost their 8 o clock timeslot on sundays (REMARKABLY on Fox of all networks) for A DECADE, maybe even longer. Do you know what that means? ON FOX?!?!?! They go through like 10 new shows a YEAR and they always get cancelled, or if they're lucky they'll get a few years but their time slot switches.

They're in their 18th season, something tells me they'll go for 2 more seasons.

Not really, the old family guy yes but their last few episodes before the strike were pretty crappy

Who cares if its not as good now? Even if the season has some bad episodes, it still has its moments. And you think Fox keeps this show on season after season for fun? No, its because its bringing in a good amount of viewers, and will continue to. Its way better than crap shows like according to jim.

They ran out of original and funny ideas back around the time they killed Maude. Now they are just trying to be like Family Guy and using toilet humour to make their funnies. Both The Simpsons and Family Guy need to die... their new episodes aren't funny anymore and just reuse everything that they've already used before. Futurama on the other hand, was killed by Fox and yet, even when they come back, they are still able to make cartoon comedies funny again. Bender's Big Score was hilarious and original. The same thing cannot be said for the last several episode debuted this year of Family Guy and Simpsons.foxhound_fox

i'm like the bigest simspsons fan, i thought it was alright but i'm still going to get the dvd of it. i watch it everyday! 5-6pm allof those r good.

I agree. Their last few seasons were lame. Every episode used to have a story and a point to it, now it's just random crap that they put together and call each set an episode. But at least the movie wasn't that bad.

Well Family Guy never needed to resume but look at it. It's horrible but they continue making episodes because of popular demand.

I love the Simpsons, and to me the episodes started going down in quality after the 15th season. The earlier years all episodes were 9/10's and 10/10, but nowadays most episodes are like a 6/10 w/ maybe a couple that are gems in the vein of the earlier episodes.

With all that said though, Simpsons is STILL better than most of the shows out there, and I thought the movie was great. They can call it quits once they pass the 20th season and 500th episode but until then they can keep it coming.
