Amen to that. Family Guy has been just terrible since they brought it back from cancellation. It's not that the show isn't occasionally funny, it's just that it feels like the writers are reaching so desperately for a laugh where in the first 3 seasons it came natural. The Simpsons best seasons may be behind them, but I still enjoy the show a lot even though the last few years have been mostly about guest stars and Homer's antics.
BTW....South Park trumps them all. After the Imaginationland trilogy I can't see an arguement for a better animated program right now.
Well i think that the simpsons is more sitcomish while faimley gus is kinda slapstick I cant decide wich is "better" but faimly guy is defanitley funnier

It's definitely possible. They've already been picked up for at least 4 more seasons which will make them at Season 15, and South Park is a show that's only gone UP in quality since it began. As much as I loveThe Simpsons, they never made as strong a statement as SP and thats one of the reasons SP is so great. Seriously, Imaginationlandwas one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on tv in terms of the sheer scope and volume of work put into it. How can you not love seeing ManBearPig rip people a new one?
Both suck right now. Simpson seasons 2-12 are awesome, family guy seasons 1-mid5 are awesome and on my top five tv shows. the current state of both are not the same great shows hey used to be.
i like them both a lot..i still find them both decent...but it seems every funny cartoon is going downhill (simpsons, family guy, south park, futurama)
Both shows are past their prime, but I still like the Simpsons more. The Simpsons have been going downhill since about 02-03. I never really got into Family Guy. I never liked those random little scenes. Granted, some of them were funny, but most of them were stupid.
