Whoops I don't tend to think of the action manga folks as superheroes I guess since they don't have a "universe" as it were. I was thinking more along the lines of Marvel & DC which currently the correct answer for is Thor.
If you're going to drag the world of manga into it though then there's nothing...NOTHING, more powerful than a character from JoJo's Bizarre Adventures by the name of Enrico Pucci with his Stairway to Heaven/Made in Heaven stand. Next in line would be Giorno Giovanna with his Gold Experience Requiem stand.
Dr. Manhattan. Nuff' said.LiftedHeadshot
The Justice League Unlimited version of AMAZO is even more powerful than Dr. Manhattan.
What about *ptui* The Sentry?Whoops I don't tend to think of the action manga folks as superheroes I guess since they don't have a "universe" as it were. I was thinking more along the lines of Marvel & DC which currently the correct answer for is Thor.

Pssh! The basket case that curls up at his wife's feet when things get too hectic?
Although truthfully they're still debating as to his limits as Marvel's mentally unstable pure energy driven uber-Superman character. We'll just have to wait and see where they go with him. They could downscale him to stabilize him and keep his character around, or they could upscale him and no doubt cause him to go out in some sort of acosmic bang -- perhaps literally so.
Batman always is greater than any superhero. JustBeingFrankYeah, Batman has more brain than Goku but sadly, Batman is a normal human meanwhile Goku is the most powerful Saiyajin in the universe. Anyways, from the western superheroes my favorite is Batman and from japan is... I don't know yet, alot of cool superheroes.

Im going to tell McJugga you said that. He will not be pleased.
Strongest Strength Wise? Or most powerful period... because I'm pretty sure Marvel's the One-Above-All wins this. Dude is god of all existence.
who, based on when the Fantastic Four went to Heaven via one of Reed's whizbang inventions, is apparently Jack Kirby.Strongest Strength Wise? Or most powerful period... because I'm pretty sure Marvel's the One-Above-All wins this. Dude is god of all existence.

I have never heard of this "The Sentry"Actually, how many (Marvel) mutants are left after M-day?
By the way, that whole plot line was a stupid way for the writers to decrease the number of mutants and consequently due less work...
What happened to the Grey Hulk - who had all the strength of the Green Hulk and intelligence to boot?
The Hectic Anti MAN my personal super hero creation is the strongest why?
Immortality
Unlimited strength
Can move 1000000x faster then the speed of light
can turn himself invisible
can fire beams from his hands that are capable of destroying entire galaxies and if he wanted the universe and all that is in it!
a huge shield barrier around his body that can take any amount of damage
yup....he beats both goku and every other super hero :D
Though in all seriousness half the people in this topic know absouletlty nothing of what goku is capable of. Yes he is one of the strongest Characters ever created and much more powerful then any DC/Marvel character. He could destroy a entire planet and 200 times gravity is nothing to him. Infact 1000 times gravity in his Super saiyan 3 form would be nothing to him. Superman at his strongest could throw a punch and the fight would be over for him before it began.
There were 180-something, down from tens of millions, though a few have died since then. There has only been one mutant born since that happened :oActually, how many (Marvel) mutants are left after M-day?

The Hulk. His strenghth is proportional to his rage. Theoretically, he has access to unlimited strength.
Not the Hulk. People have tried it, and he has developed an adaptation/resistance to it. The most Dr. Manhattan could do to him is send him really, really far away...and even then that has been known to just piss the Hulk off even more. The only real answer. WIll turn everyone else into mush.

The Sentry would probably also do well against Big Blue. Recently, he faced off against Molecule Man, a pretty close Marvel parallel for Doc Manhattan. MM disintegrated the Sentry, who then reassembled himself and disintegrated Molecule Man, and then realized that he doesn't even know how to die.[QUOTE="Crimtmp"]

Those people are clearly unaware that the Hulk can not be manipulated on a molecular level. People have tried it before and failed. The fight would be a boring stalemate unless Dr. Manhattan teleported him, and I do not even know if that would work, across the damn universe.lol speak of the devil
Looks like the majority of people feel that Dr M would make him pea soup :p

Again I need to point out JoJo's Enrico Pucci as greateras his power is specifically described as being more than God can keep up with -- which is ridiculously silly but since he exists in comics then I suppose there's no trumping that.
