I'm 4 episodes in and already losing interest. The first episode was fantastic but everything since getting to the camp has been Ho hum. If I'm not really into the flow should I just give up or does it change at all?

I really liked the first season :?
Anyway, you should try the Comic, is so much better than the show.
the comic is way different than the show and better, but i take them in as two separate entities. i think the show is good it is very entertaining compared to most other shows. the first season is good and the second season kind of drags but gets really good towards the final episodes, especially if you like the comic. just take them as two separate things and you will enjoy it for what it is, think of it as an alternate universe or what if this situation didnt happen. of course you have these people who compare the comic to the show and want it to be exactly the same and start crying whenever something different is done, however to make this show like the comic is unrealstic.. i would say just force yourself to sit through it if your not really enjoying it, you will probably just waste a day or less. if you really cant stand it, dont watch it. simple.
The first half of season 2 is horrible.Big_PecksI disagree, but that's not really the point of the thread.

I hope third season gets better and they start moving west. Hanging out on the farm got boring after a few episodes. KC_HokieSo far they've been following a policy of only honoring the worst parts of the comic series, and filling the good parts they cut out with horribleness. If they follow the comics to the next storyline, without spoilers it is basically like the farm only twice as long.
You already saw the best of the series, the first two episodes. Stop watching immediately, if you like the premise the comic is decent.Sajo7What is the point in watching just two episodes of a TV series? This show is going to go on for multiple seasons, it's silly to assume you will always hate the show when you don't know what's going to happen.

I think watching a show for two seasons waiting for it to get better is more than fair.

Apparently they're following the comics more next season so if you hate the show after that then you only have the comics to blame. The writers just can't win, they either create a story that's different from the comics and people complain that it's drifting too far from the source material or they stick to the source material and more people complain that it's not being original. Season 2 is a lot slower than the first but the reason for that is all behind the scenes, the creator was fired and the budget was cut multiple times.

This was my rationale behind not watching past season 3 Lost, a decision I feel was more than justified by the end.

Guys , what do you think of the opinion that most people who don't like the show is because they want mindless action instead of a balance between character development, drama, and action?dave123321I can subsribe to it, but I think considering the only action we got for 6-8 episodes was CARL'S NOT IN THE HOUSE it's fairly justified even if you just wanted SOME action.
