The Weekend Thread 2/29: Health Check In Edition

With the corona virus spreading, just thought I'd check in to see how everyone's doing. A-OK in Colorado so far.

What are your plans for the weekend? Me, work as usual on Saturday, then back to reading and playing more Metroid Prime 2.

Went shopping and taken down two bosses in Dark Souls 3. Both with summons. The princes were annoying aggressive. Oceiros with the NPC summon.

For the evening I am not quite sure what I will do. Either some more gaming, or give a belated birthday gift.

To be more on topic: The coronavirus has reached my city now as well. Two doctors one hospital in the city have it.

The coronaviruswas found in my state. Gonna play Mario Odyssey, Donkey Kong: Tropical Breeze and Doom 3.

There are 4 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in my country. The first two were in my city.

As for the weekend, I haven't done much so far. I read my book and watched some tennis. Might watch a movie on Neflix afterwards.

Right now, it's a little after 8 am in Honolulu. The virus hasn't hit here yet, but I'm just trying to keep healthy regardless. Drinking some coffee, and about to watch the original Candyman movie.

I just got shot in the leg. Going to go out and get a surgery.

Watched Michael Jackson's music video DVD "History on Film Volume II." It had one song/video I've never heard/watched before, which I rather liked, "Blood on the Dance Floor."

I would have rented Michael Jackson: Number Ones instead, however, if I had known that DVD has the better music video collection. Next rental batch.

Edit: Nope, Michael Jackson's Vision is the DVD to get. It has all his videos. Looks like I'll need to buy it.

Also rewatched some of the music video DVD "Madonna: Celebration" and The X-Files, and played some Mario Kart 8 alone.

I've determined... Madonna made better music videos than MJ, taking quantity into account. Though, MJ had some that can't be beat.

I'm not sure if the coronavirus is in NY yet, though I've been sick with presumably the flu all week. The weather is so bipolar, I think most of us just want it to be Spring already. Even if it hasn't been a bad Winter it's been bad enough.

I recycled bottles and cans yesterday, and spent a lot of time reading about Alex Toth and all the shows he worked on for Hanna-Barbera. I slept most of Saturday, but kind of want to do more today. Laundry is due again, but that could wait.

This week I pretty much accepted that I won't be able to do my own taxes due to crappy Internet and poor records from the people who did my taxes last year, so I'll probably just go back to them yet again.
