If this thing is real then it's just plain wrong:

Poor baby, Hopefully it can live a normal life... but that's very unlikely.PPresentFortuneHe'll probably be unbelievably wealthy.
Or dead from any number of complications.
Here's one who grew up and became an athlete: http://www.10news.com/health/3919722/detail.html
Also I found this kind of funny when reading the wikipedia article:
'Babies afflicted with this disease have a most unusual appearance, which many find distressing. For this reason, websites with photographs of such babies are often linked to on Internet forums by Internet trolls as a form of shock site, even though many are medical websites and not intended for this purpose. Some of these photos have been included in the notorious Pain Series of shock image collages. A series of photos claiming to show the effects of depleted uranium in Iraq includes a picture of a child with harlequin ichthyosis. Critics of the photos question whether the photo was from Iraq, let alone whether the case was caused by depleted uranium."
That is so horrible.....
Not only is it horrible for the kid, but imagine the pain the parents go through.....
I don't know if I could keep a child in this world like that knowing how much they would suffer....
Oh good lord that poor, poor child. What horrible bad taste to label it as an "alien baby" but I can only hold out a small amount of hope that the original poster of this video didn't know what he was looking at when he first ran across the video. Here's the Wiki entry on Harlequin Ichthyosis in case anybody is interested. Lord_Daemon
"in some very rare cases, lived." wonder what one of those would look like matured

I'd stay up to date on frequent pregnancy visits, biopsies, and ultrasounds. Cause they can spot these symptoms early enough on to make it less impacting with an abortion so not to put the child through a life destined to be a short one.
