hey im just wonderin if any1 here watches the wire , my brother thinks i should get into it but im not really sure. Ive heard mixed things about it i do like programs like prison break lost and life on mars so i was wondering what ppl think of it
Um, its hands down the best show on tv. Its one of the best tv shows in my lifetime. Nothing else compares to it, not even the Sopranos or any other cable show. Network television isn't even close.
 How old are you? The reason I ask is not because of the content (although it is very adult), but because the show is very character driven. If you don't understand good acting or writing or can't appreciate either, then the show isn't for you. It has its moments of action, but thats not why the show is great.

Agreed...i remmeber you from when i posted it as my favorite show...you are the best person on this website just to let you know..
And yeah...its by far the best at everything...what made it so great was the characters and writing..its not like what most people like with just unbelievable action...its great acting and very story driven...that why most people on this site wont like it..
all i have to say is R.I.P Little Kevin and Bodie.....i hope Marlo goes down painfully.....i hav ean R.I.P Bodie tatoo on my left arm by the way...

yeah i just got the 4th season (the last one)...its the best one IMO....i felt so bad for so many people....i want to personally find the actor that plays marlo and kill him...

Yeah, in theory yes. But depends on how your parents see it or judge it. True Blood has nudity in almost every episode so the chances of them walking into that is higher than with The Wire. Same with the violence in Dexter or the gore in TB. All there in The Wire, but they're more likely to walk into dialogue with The Wire than those other 2.
