Well, I hope he's wrong. I got 20 bucks on this thing happening AFTER the new year, and I swear if my bro actually predicts the right timeframe for this thing, I'll never hear the end of it.
I'm evacuating America. Thank god for guys making theories on Youtube.A theory by a guy on youtube. Yes yes I have my kit ready.

Wait, how exactly would someone be able to predict down to the month not only when an earthquake will happen, but also its magnitude?

Magic pixie dust. Duh!
Meh say what you like, just posting this so people get a heads up. But if in the event it does happen, I won't go walking to everyones door saying that I was right. But go ahead and check out those Bear Grills videos, real life savers.ggnome213
It seems to me that it would be more productive to worry about real warnings issued by real seismologists; YouTube's track record in terms of its users being right about terrible events predicted in the future is not exactly very good. :P
I'm scared  I only know the doggy paddle with a life jacket on"Learn to swim. Learn to swim. Learn to swim. Learn to swim." (repeat x 5)

Now looking back in history when the San Andreas went off it was an 8.4 and it rang church bells up in Boston. It also made the Mississippi river run backwards for hours. ggnome213
No, that was the New Madrid quake along the Mississippi River.
youtube also informed me that megalodons still exist.
but of course, not saying it's impossible. i'm sure if seismologists do discover something, they'll warn the public asap.
As far as I know, earthquakes are not like storm clouds, you cannot predict when it'll rain. It's the same BS as the whole 2012 thing. Frenzyd109
Well, not exactly.. I mean, scientists do know it's coming. It's just a matter of when, not if. 2012 is just bad History channel documentaries perpetrated by big budget Hollywood.
All I can say is... Yay, no school! I hope I'm still alive then, I really want to see what happens after 2012.

did this man by any chance have a tinfoil hat?
if he isn't a sismologist i'm inclined not to believe him
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_c6HsiixFS8&feature=PlayList&p=AB08FF78DF62FC0A&playnext_from=PL&index=0&playnext=1 , i'm too busy worrying about this to be concerned about earthquakes.
[QUOTE="DJ_Lae"]I didn't know it was possible to forecast earthquakes so far in advance with such accuracy.GabuEx
Get out of my head! :x
yeah and our weather channel is right on half of the time,
They even have to audacity to put there is a 50% chance for rain... ANYONE CAN PREDICT A 50% CHANCE IT WILL OR WONT, ANYDAY!
Wait how exactly would an 8.4 earthquake in California ring church bells in Boston? Also, why would the Mississippi flowing backwards, which happened due to the 1812 New Madrid fault more or less under the Mississippi, be attributed to the San Andreas fault?Wait, how exactly would someone be able to predict down to the month not only when an earthquake will happen, but also its magnitude?

Recently a YouTube video went up about a guy who theorized that the big one in Cali will be 9.0 in September 2010, will be felt as far as Arizona. Now looking back in history when the San Andreas went off it was an 8.4 and it rang church bells up in Boston. It also made the Mississippi river run backwards for hours. Now if this theory is correct I'll pass on some info. Have an earthquake pack ready just in case, you can find out how to make one easily by Googling. An important thing is I want you all to see the Worst Cause scenario video (survive an earthquake) by Bear Grills. He'll give you tips on how to avoid heated pipes, electrified water and so on. He is very good at what he does so don't take it lightly. Also remember that if this does happen the recovery may take a long while but if you keep calm and don't riot like idiots then the recovery will be 10x faster and the U.S. national guard will eventually help you. You can also watch Bear Grills on YouTube or the discovery channels website. Also feel free to watch his other videos like how to escape a sinking car and so on because those may come in handy. But remember this is a theory so it may not happen but just in case, better to be ready then deady. :) sorry if this has already been posted.ggnome213
FLOP. Hyped AAAA.
Good thing I live in Britain where nothing remotely interesting happens.super_mario_128
