OMG, a few months ago, we had crickets in our house and the would not STFU!!!!! It was SO annoying! I didn't mind crickets before but now I freaking hate them!!! Youre just going to have to find it and try to kill it because those little bastards wont shut up any other way!
fill house with a few dozen cans of fly spray. if it fails light a match and it should go away, if you still hear it, maybe you should go to the psych ward
If you can't find it and don't want to go out and buy a trap, try making some white noise. A ceramic heater running in fan only mode will drown it out. I do not recommend spray poison if you're going to spend any time in the area (I tried that once, fell asleep, and felt sick for days).
