There is a fly in your house. Do you kill it?

This is a simple question that tests your morals. Also after you have answered the poll, please post further infomation such as is the fly an exception? i.e. You would leave a Bee alone but kill the fly.

I'll only kill the fly if its flying in my face. Which usually happens. mrmusicman247

ive got an electric fly raquet that zaps flies when i hit them with it. they always get stuck in the net and i keep the button held down and sparks come out and then the fly starts smoking

Yes, usually, as it will probably be flying around me or be on my computer screen which is quite irritating.

If it flies near my food, its fair game.

If I can't just let it out a window, yes. It's dead.

I kill anything that threatens me.

If it's on my food or constantly buzzing around my face I'll try to kill it.

I'd kill it, just like I do with any bug.

I'll ignore it or let it out. I'm pretty weak minded so I'd feel kinda bad if I'd kill it.

yes i kill the fly because as far as i know they don't do anything productive.

but i won't kill most bugs. spiders are cool with me especially. unless they're deadly. then i'll kill them. but i don't think there are many of those around here, so i'll just let them do what they do.

there were 2 wasps in my room the other day and i didn't give a crap, i just let them fly around.

roaches, i kill them on the spot.

I usually avoid them.. the only things I do save are TINY spiders (any bigger they are horrifying) bees or ladybirds :) I will go out of my way and get a cup/paper to catch them in and put them in the garden!

I kill Insects I don't like.

Bee's are awsome and are vital for pollenation.

Years and years ago, we had a Bee Hive in the wall of our kitchen. All we did, was put a sheet up to stop them from flying around the house. it was pretty neat being in the kitchen with the bees, we left them alone, they left us alone. After a week, dad got tired of it and got the nest taken care of.

it depends. If the fly keeps landing on me and not going away, then he's asking for it. but I dont purposely go out of my way to kill insects. some of the bigger ones I just open the door and throw them out.

90% of the time, a fly in the vicinity will land on my computer screen or twirl around me. So I spray this:

Whether or not it lives, this usually stops them from bugging me.

The fly must go. Have you ever seen the movie The Fly? If you have, you'd understand.

I had a lone fly in the bedroom not long ago. Pulled up a completely white full screen image to attract him close to the screen and then snatched him out of the air. I then ran some water in the sink and held him under it until he died.
