That's the way it is these days. I'm really saddened and disappointed some people would go to such lenghts to destroy OUR president in this way.
They did it to Bill Clinton, and I swear they are doing it to Obama. For shame.:shock:

Maybe so....But everyone wants to have someone to blame.
Dissent is un-American?MafireeWhen many were dissenting against Bush, why was that called un-American?
[QUOTE="TacticalDesire"]eh.....That's politics.

Well, to be fair it's not exactly like the Obama campaign hasn't been hitting Romney. The biggest problem I have with many of the anti-Obama ads though, is how the claims have been proven false and yet they're still allowed to air them.
What truth? He deserves it though, the truth is being out there and I have no problem with that.

The Republicans are politicians, and they want to win. They can't win against Obama if they don't lie.
What truth? By "truth" he means made up BS. Like how he said he would bring troops home right away? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p12cAclNCRU[QUOTE="CreasianDevaili"][QUOTE="undergroundLPx"]

After a quick Google search that video was the only thing I could see with such a claim.[QUOTE="CreasianDevaili"] What truth?mingmao3046

If you are upset that he didn't bring them all home based on a PR gimmick in light of the consenquences then you're a straight up **** I am just asking what truth is being told about aspects within his actual power to control that he lied about getting accomplished. Or whatever you wanna call it.

The first segment covers this pretty well, skip to 2:20 if you want to get to it:P.
Those facts
[QUOTE="YoshiYogurt"]By "truth" he means made up BS. Like how he said he would bring troops home right away? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p12cAclNCRU I think he's talking about Iraq? That video didn't say which war. *rolls eyes*[QUOTE="CreasianDevaili"] What truth?mingmao3046
the republicans are lost, grasping at straws; they've got nothing left to do but flock to the extremes. it's clear that their platform is based on perpetuating misinformation and appealing to emotions

Way to not mention that the same thing was done to Bush. Someone's clearly a party member. The president always has people hating on him. And most of the time it's totally justified. This country has been lead by horrible people, doing horrible things, from both sides, for decades.

There aren't ANY smear campaigns going against Romney. Not even ONE smearing campaigning video, yet there are so many against Obama.
Totally unbelievable
flazzle
Is this really a shocked? (and btw there are plenty of negative ads for Romney) This is coming from the same party that called Obama a socialist and many crazies within the party claimed he isn't American born and he is a atheist or muslim.. Both sides smear.. The difference is this.. Republican party rhetoic has become far more hostile bordering on violence when you hear lines "don't retreat, reload".. Or calling the opponents flat out traitors, Unamerican or numerous other such things.. I blame the cancer of the Tea Party.. A group that claims to be for the "people" but is in fact bank rolled by the Koch Brothers.. Seriously you couldn't write better comedy than this..
Must we start posting quotes from popular figures within the Tea Party? Democrats are not saints, its just they are not bat sh!t crazy like the tea party is.Oh this is rich.

I wasn't quoting anyone.
I always viewed this part of politics as being juvenile. All I want is to hear about your ideas, your solutions not some pissing contest/slander fest. Those doing this are only showing signs of weakness, trying to bash the integrity of your opponent in hopes of making yourself look stronger.... at the same time not proving that you truly are the solution the people seek. I've always seen thru that B.S., and the fact that this crap act still carries on today is starting to really bother me. Its like these figure heads want to make the people divided even more by displaying such childish behavior. All of it is just distractions and it's all totally uncalled for. bnarmzIf you must blame anyone, vote the general population... Polls have shown time and time again, negative ads are more effective in steering elections than positive ones..

Polls have shown time and time again, negative ads are more effective in steering elections than positive ones.. Yes, They have conditioned the GP very well. To the point that most of them forgot that they are the real leaders/bosses and these puppets that being placed in office are suppose to do our bidding. But it never happens. Why? Because the GP allows this to happen due to being severely brainwashed by propaganda and the corruption in politics. Polls? The main polls I and most people know about are during the actual elections. I don't trust any poll to be honest. Well, maybe the polls in O.T. We (humanity) need to figure this thing out and fast.
