There Will Be Blood or No Country For Old Men?

Which one do you like better?

They are both terrific films. I have trouble hearing through the accents in No Country so a lot of the subtext was a bit amiss for me.

I would probably say There Will Be Blood therefore. It is a film that takes a lot more risks in its themes and ideas.

No Country for Old Men is decent, though it wanders too far away from the book in places.

I haven't seen There Will Be Blood, though the people I know that did see it described it as something along the lines of "pretentious crap."

Never seen There Will be Blood, but because of all the praise the movie gets on OT I'll end up seeing it eventually.

No Country for Old Men, though, was masterful. Great Film.

If you don't think those films are good then you don't know what a film is.

Wut? There Will Be Boredom is probably the one of the most overrated movies to come out in a looong time. NCFOM was better than that by far. The only good thing in TWBB was DD Lewis. The pacing and the music were also just awful, what a waste of time that film was. Don't try to insult my intelligence, I know what a film is far better than the average person.

I thought No Country For Old Men was better.
