the only question is... will it be World World III - U.S (and her allies) v.s. China (and her allies) - or will it be a Global Revolution, where the people of the world rise up and start the first ever global democracy!

Me too... but war does kind of seem to be inevitable.I hope I'm dead before either happen.

Wouldn't it be probable to assume that the war will end with nukes? Unlike some of the fighting in the World Wars that occurred.
Nukes don't seem practical to me... they really only work as a scare tactic. If one country uses a nuke against another, the latter will then use his own nukes against the former... ending in mutual destruction. Furthermore, if a government used a nuke against its own people, it would destroy its working class, assuring its own destruction.Wouldn't it be probable to assume that the war will end with nukes? I dunno much about politics, but why would the government use a nuke against its own people? Kind of like suicide, only with explosions.Wouldn't it be probable to assume that the war will end with nukes? Unlike some of the fighting in the World Wars that occurred.

No one really benefits from the world ending, though. I'm not really that afraid of the world ending.End of the world anybody?

Not me I wish to be apart of it.
It will probably be WWIII
It would be kind of cool if it was the global revolution though, right?I think it's more likely to be a global revolution (or at least a big revolution in a lot of countries) than a third world war.
I am quite sure they are dozens of wars and conflict currently occurring in the world. Ranging from Syria,Mexico,Columbia,Yemen, Afghanistan, Sudan and not to mention scores of other more minor conflicts but never the less conflicts. As for your two scenario's they are quite literally absurd.
I shudder to think what would happen if you gave the hoi Polli any sort of power.
Global revolution. I've been anticipating a second American revolution for about 3 months now. I don't expect it tomorrow, but it'll happen (give it a few years). So I'm going to try to get as much out of the system before my green-back is as useless as the paper its printed on.
We live in interesting times.
China will not go to war to the USA, their whole country would collapse first. China is already pretty split and the only thing that keeps it going to the crazy ammount of US money that goes there.
Ok i shall make that happen *grabs knife* AussieePet
Knives aren't scary. Come at me with a sword, let's mix it up a little bit.
I think the next big war we'll see is between the US and Iran.ydnarrewopThat wouldn't be a big war. Anyone who thinks Iran would stand a chance against the U.S. is an idiot. I highly doubt the U.S. would go to war with Iran though, it would be political suicide. That is unless Iran does something horrific.
Not for a long time. So far, just revolutions and rebellions which is a good thing for this world. We really do need the change.
As for WWIII, it won't happen for a long time. In fact, probably never.
I hope a major war won't happen. But it seems to be inevitable with all the troubles in the Middle East... and there are still conflicts outside that place.
Perhaps a large geopolitical conflict with NATO involvement. I don't really think anything gloabal will happen. Revolution or otherwise.

We're just gonna nuke ourselves into oblivion in either case.
I think its going to be everybody against Iran. If Iran doesnt open up that straight (which supplies the world with 1/5th of oil), someone is going to take a first strike
They never closed it. they backed down from their threat a while ago....I think its going to be everybody against Iran. If Iran doesnt open up that straight (which supplies the world with 1/5th of oil), someone is going to take a first strike

it's going to be you scrabbling around in the dirt with your neighbor for a can of beans when the oil runs out and whoever has the biggest rock wins.the only question is... will it be World World III - U.S (and her allies) v.s. is that suitably bleak? did i win the prize?
False flag. They are going to sink the USS Enterprise. A 1961 aircraft carrier, which should be decommissioned anyway.. And it will be Iran who attacked us! Dun dun dun.I think its going to be everybody against Iran. If Iran doesnt open up that straight (which supplies the world with 1/5th of oil), someone is going to take a first strike

Why the hell would China and the USA go to war?
China and the USA are the biggest economic partners the world has ever seen. War would mean cutting all trade between the nations. America would see the cost of goods skyrocket and China would not be able to feed hundreds of millions of people.
It's unlikely they will but it's fairly obvious the U.S. is quite insecure on its fallen state while China continues to balloon up.
