as far as impact Jedi wins...but when comparing the movies overall (direction, special effects, w/e else including technology and evolution of society...i sound so pretentious) King is a better movie. btw, i prefer jedi. subjection is influential and i'm subject to that...as most of us. emotion and relation to something including movies is important personally. it may not be important to others, but i don't have others' minds.
As much as I hate to say it because I am not a fan of Tolkien, I will have to go with "The Return of the King". No movie that's any good ends with, as Harrison Ford himself put it, " A Teddy Bear Picnic".
