Get a bunch of people to wear the exact same pants. Stand around him. It'll mess with his non-conformity impulses.

I wear jeans multiple days in a row. I mean if all I do is go to school and come home, it's not like they get that dirty. And my mom is nice enough to wash my clothes for me, so I try not to fill the load with unnecessary work.

Maybe you could offer to buy him some pants...

But don't start with pants. Offer to buy him a drink, first.

His perogative...get over it.

Sometimes I wear the same pants for the entire week on end (all I do is sit in lectures mostly). If you've got an issue with him wearing the same pants, then tell him...don't bother us about it, because it's kinda obsessive and very damn shallow to notice and form a judgment about him based on this.

What judgment?

VanHelsingBoA64

That he is an emo, that it is a trait that identifies him as such whether or not the other bits of info point it out, solely using this as your labelling trait is very judgmental, and the fact that he should change his pants purely because you believe he should, not because he has to.

Are the pants stinking you out? No, you just believe that he should change em purely because he's worn them consecutively.

Are the pants leaping out and attacking you physically? No, they are an article of clothing, that this kid wears. Consecutively is his issue.

If you've got a damn issue with this, then why not pick on all kids who have to wear school uniforms everyday? What about all workers who have to wear standard dress uniforms for their work day in - day out? Or those who just can't afford any other articles of clothing because of their financial situation?

Or those who just don't believe in wasting time washing clothes needlessly?

Do you think of any of those before you made this topic? Nope, didn't think so. You come in here because you've got a problem with this kid, over something so damn trivial, and so damn shallow, that you feel he's done you wrong.

Sounds to me like a very damn judgmental person to me. Now get over it, do something about it, but either way, shut up about it here, because it's pointless boiling on here, saying "But his pants are....".

Do we know this kid? Do we see him? Maybe he's got a reason, and it's not up to you, to label him otherwise. Don't like it, then grow up.

Posting on GS about it, and when people give you reason as it isn't that bad, and maybe he has the same pair of pants. You have to throw another point at them, just accept it. Allow someone to be who they want, including what they wear and how they act.

Too true. OP, if you've got issues with it you've 2 choices:

1. Get over it

2. Tell him you're issues with it and then get over it

Both require you to stop posting needlessly about it on here, and doing something about it. We are not obsessive over your actions, you voluntarily posted this useless topic, and we posted our opinions on it. The one with the issues here is you OP. Get over it.

I'm outta this trash topic, since it's going knowhere and the OP is too damn ignorant of the fact.
