Funny, but hopefully they dont start doing this to innocent people whom they merely think are guilty

That is too funny. Still, the shop should have filed the complaint with the police so charges could have been filed.

Pfft. That's nothing.

This happened in my hometown a few years ago. One of the strangest things that's happened here in a very long time,

A kid was jumped at a local restaraunt, they dragged him to my half-sister's dad's house, threw him in the creek, tied him to a tree, beat the shit out of him, threw beer bottles at his head, then left a dead deer on him. He said it ruined his chances of becoming a horse jockey.

The really f*cked up thing is that a a year later, he was found dead by hanging in his barn.

Makes sense considering how slow the police are in that city.

I say they should be grateful...My grandpa does some dark shit to the burglars who dare to cross into his property. The last time someone tried to break into his house, he ended up busting his eardrum with a gun.

Don't believe it when people tell you small towns never have anything happen in them. Some of the craziest crime stories I've ever heard happened right here, like when my cousin's buddy burned down an Amish man's barn for drug money because the guy who paid them to do it, from what I understand, was owed him 50 bucks by the amish man.

Edit: Found the story.

He tied him to a metal pole and shot right next to his ear several times. Then he stripped him naked, put him in his pickup and went to tie him to a tree at the park.

So...I guess the robber can be found at PTSD therapy?

I'm kinda surprised your grandfather got away with that, considering self-defense only goes so far.

It wasn't in the US, Our neighborhood has a special permit called "Organized protection" which is basically "neighbor patrol", anyone is allowed to defend himself or do basically anything to fend off criminals from the neighborhood. As a matter of fact every house has a "panic switch" that you can use if someone is trying to break into your house or if something is going on in the streets, it' triggers a huge siren network (silent hill style) to let everyone know. We've only used it one time and I can assure you the guy who got caught wont be comming near this place for a while.

Christ, that sounds utterly terrifying.

Even more so if everyone just starts walking out of their homes The Happening style and slowly encircle and close in on the poor soul.

Well it's like that for a reason, this used to be a really bad neighborhood, it was really hard to get mugged, but home invasions were extremely common, even during the day. Something had to be done.
