I read that aliens turn humans into a bio liquid and rub it over their skin to survive. They don't have intenstines like humans so they come here to prey on us in order to survive. That would explain all the abductions. Aleins are real I swear it, if you don't belive me, well, well, you'll see!!!

I'm quite sure they are fake. I would assume they are an illustration (most likely photoshopped) to portray the phenonema better than the crappy video quality.

This is cool. I actually hope that aliens do exist. Darn how come the US never gets strange sky phenomenons? I always read about them happening in other countries.

A bunch of people who don't know eachother, and hadn't seen the video, all described the same thing...there are even videos of it from different cameras. I'm pretty sure it's real.

Whether or not it's aliens is another question.

Apparently they aren't fake. The whole event lasted for 12 minutes, which is more than enough time for someone who has a good hi-def camera to go grab it and take some pictures.

If you were an alien, would you try to meat meet a savage type of people in person, or broadcast an alien equivalent to a television broadcast across the sky? I'm going with the latter...

So you're saying that extraterrestrial intelligent life:

A. Invented faster than light speed travel: Yes, in order to properly have a sustainable civilization in the stars it would be entirely necessary to harvest stars for their energy at a MASSIVE level. With this you would also need to have a fast enough form of travel to traverse the universe.

B. Found us in the massive universe: If they have light speed travel, or are sophisticated enough to travel a galaxy, are you honestly serious in thinking that they wouldn't have a means to scan for our existence.

C. Left us an ambiguous light show instead of attempting to make contact? : 1) They could be right next to us right now, but since our brains are programmed for a 3 dimensional universe and not the 4 dimensional universe it is...then we would never even see them.

Option 2) Think of this scenario. If man was to build a 10 lane super highway through the Amazon they would simply build it. Not but 50 feet from the Highway though is a colony of ants. Would you stop, go over to the ants, and attempt to explain your technology to them? Would you take the time out of your life to explain this technology that you honestly can say they would never understand? In most instances a sane person would simply ignore the ants, or step on them as they created the highway. Now...why would a civilization that can traverse time and space on a galactic, possibly universal level want to waste their time with such low lives as ourselves? The fact is...we are alone and aliens wouldn't waste their time explaining technology to us that we could never fathom to understand. Humans are the most arrogant creatures in the universe. They believe the universe centers on them and their beliefs, so that an alien civilization would HAVE to search for us, and HAVE to stop by our worthless rubble of a planet to give us technology. Our war infested, starving, self centered, religiously crazy society is SO far inferior to any alien races would HAVE to be in order to survive.

Get your head out of the gutter and stop being a human tool. We aren't unique little snowflakes after all. Hate to break it to you.

With those crude barbaric excuses for a "broadcast system?" Hell no. Ya gotta demostrate the technological awesomeness by blasting it across the sky. Sadly many people are just so perplexed by it's radness that they believe it to be a hoax. Haters...

I had already heard it was a Russian missile earlier in the day; but you said it was dust on someone's camera lens, which is probably like the worst theory ever by the way.

Come on. Really? Since when does a denial from Russia mean any more than jack ****? The White Sea and Barents Sea, which are right below where the light was seen, are regular missile test areas for the Russians.
