Thin Lizzy or Led Zeppelin

This is a heated discussion i've had many times.

Which band do you guys prefer?

Thin Lizzy all the way for me!

"still in love with you" by Thin Lizzy.

One of the best solos in the world ever. And it lasts about 2 minutes!

Also check out "cold sweat" which sounds like an early Mettalica song!

Led Zep were too boring IMHO. And while they did some masterpieces in thier time ("kashmir" poeple!), even the some of thehardcore fan's admit some Zepalbums are pure filler.

In before someone says 'Thin Zeppelin' or 'Led Lizzy'.

I like both but I'm gonna have to go with TL becuase of Whiskey in the Jar.

I like 'em both, but Le Zeppelin is just that little bit better IMHO :-)

Personally I don't think Cold Sweat sounds anything like a Metallica song. And Metallica sucks anyway, so that wouldn't be a good thing. Anyway, Thin Lizzy is good, but Led Zeppelin is much better. Stairway To Heaven, Heartbreaker, Going To California, Whole Lotta Love, When The Levee Breaks, Since I've Been Loving You, How Many More Times, Kashmir, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Hots On For Nowhere, Gallows Pole, etc... Thin Lizzy can't stand up to that...sorry.

You should hear 'Sarah' by Thin Lizzy. One of my favourite songs by them.....I think Phil Lynott wrote it for his daughter.
