Things you did that made you popular in School, H.S.?

yeah was just wondering if you did something that made you popular in High school

mine would be when i was in a field trip and sat right beside a hot girl at the bus and some kid spread rumors about me and her french kissing and did something else, we were 14 at the time..so it was a big deal...so monday morning I went to school and as soon as i entered the class everybody started applauding and all the kids my age thought it was cool..LOL.

One more time is when i was tagging in the bathroom and got caught , and got supended for a day. news spread about it they thought it was funny.

I didn't do a thing and almost everyone from my school knows me.

Football team. Wrestling captain. Class Vice President. And a 347rwhp 340rwtq Camaro. The last one was a panty-dropper.

I wasn't popular in school.

Umm... my mom working at my high school, my upfront boldness won/is winning me infamy, my friends in "high" places, my chivalry, trying for ASB and making a sweet video alongside that (and winning), my sense of style, etc.

A lotta things.

But it's overrated.

I ran (and lost) for cIass president against the popular douchebag. I was like a voice for the slightly less popular.

Not like I did things intentionally, I did them because I felt like it. Some people know me as "the guy who rode a table down the stairs". However people like me (I assume) because I got a quick wit so I can often give good responses on the spot and I am generally considered to be funny, albeit a bit weird due to my taste in film, music and literature (the last one is stupid considering reading Dune or The Picture of Dorian Gray is considered "weird").

and I know its bad but we do some little fight clib stuff every know and then and I end up surprising a lot of people because they expect me to fight like a girl because of my size.

Grades mixed with "apathy" ... I'm cynical about everything in school, yet everyone knows me for getting a 100% avg. four out of twelve marking periods. Also, sarcasm to the point that some people don't believe a word I say. :(

I got drunk on the wrestling trip. That made headlines. I also lost 105 lbs.

That happened to me too. the cockiest mother***** in the school challenged me to a fight(it was friendly) and I ended up pounding on him. He had a good 30 pounds on me. I got a pat on the back for that.

The first 3 years of HS I was really quite...

Then in 4th year I never shut my mouth lol. Alot of people noticed it and I suddenly made alot of new friends.

I made a satyrical video of the literature teacher and posted it on youtube.Someone found it andspread itthrough the whole school via myspace bulletins. I almost got expelled.

I was doing ok at school, quite a few ppl knew me back then which was a bit of a surprise to me

I got a tattoo

I wasn't popular in HS, most of the people there were pretty fake if you ask me. I have made a bunch of really good friends in college though.

Popularity is overrated anyways, nobody cares about that stuff after HS

I existed. Honestly, I dunno what made me popular, and I certainly didn't try to be, being the guy who considers LAN parties an amazing saturday weekend and spoke in the most dull voice you can imagine (see ben stein for reference) but people liked me. I suppose just talk to people, and don't be a jerk.

I was very quiet, but for whatever reason turned heads. I heard things about myself through the grape vine, nothing bad, but still laughable. I was never motivated to be popular and by some people's standards I may not have been, which is fine by me. I still kept a low profile (i.e. avoided chatting it up on facebook/didn't have a myspace, or give my number out at the whim my peers seemed too) A lot of people came to know who I was when I started throwing parties. A friend of mine originally hosted them at his house, but there was a situation and we had to relocate...
