Anyone keep stuff, whether it be electronics, books, etc, even though you haven't used it in years, or only used a few times?
I have a tablet that I used to take everywhere, until I got a smartphone. Now, I don't use it that much.

I have a box full of old cables.
I did recently go through it and threw a lot of it. I don't need a VGA cable. I can keep the DVI and Dual DVI, but I will most likely never use them again. How many spare HDMI cables do I need really? Or USB cables?
Tools, old shoes, my PSP. I have a lot of books I might not get around to reading.
I got NES, N64, original Xbox still somewhere here. Threw the X360 and most of the games, yet still have PS3. I know I have both gameboy colour and advanced somewhere here.
I have my Nintendo club rewards which comprises of a pencil case, and a pouch. I never touch those.
I also have a “mosaic” that I did in 5th grade class that I still keep on my desk. I guess that is just decoration.
As someone who loves money, it's tough for me to throw things away that cost me money or that could still be sold for money.
I have a pan designed specifically for making crepes.
was given to me ages ago as a gift. used to make them when I lived at home from time to time, I took it with me when I moved out 5 years ago, and haven't used it once since then.
I keep old magazines (thrasher, and old PlayStation mags mostly), cell phones and my old action figures for nostalgia. Other than that I usually like getting rid of anything I don’t actively use.
Most of my video games and systems are packed away somewhere.
I have a box full of cords. Haven't used anything from there in years.
lol I know my box full of cords will come in handy eventually. And hell, sometimes it does. I have hdmi cables, cat6, vga and dvi cords, etc. Sometimes I get new things or hand-me-down things like my current monitor, that doesn't come with the all the stuff you need or one of my family members need something and they turn to me being the IT guru of the bunch.
I have a drawer full of computer/electronic stuff that's accumulated over the years. Some of it might come in handy but a lot of it I will never use.
The last count I've 43 pairs of old running trainers, mostly New Balance. I can run anything up to 1000 miles in a pair before I retire them so i get through 2 or 3 pairs a year. I do use old pairs for work and everyday shoes as there fine for that. I should just throw some away but i can't do it
