How could anyone, ever hate First Person Shooters... There is no other type of game that comes close.swizz-the-gamer
I hate FPS games, they're stupid, have no creativity, are all the same, and are about as repetetive as games can get.
Anyway the two things that come to mind that i once hated are both bands:
Radiohead and Coheed and Cambria.
I used to hate them both, now i love them both.
Coffeelinkthewindow
of yeah i used to hate that too then i started liking it.
Ad carrots, peas, brocoli, pretty much any vegetable besides potatoes i never liked, then for some reason i started liking them.

It takes skill. Develop skill in online games and you will love it.[QUOTE="Bauers-Twin"][QUOTE="swizz-the-gamer"][QUOTE="Bauers-Twin"][QUOTE="swizz-the-gamer"]How could anyone, ever hate First Person Shooters... There is no other type of game that comes close.swizz-the-gamer

Develop skill in online games and you will love it.I'd rather go outside and play basketball then spend all my time getting good at some mindless shooting game until they release a newer mindless shooter game that everyone gets and stops playing the previous one. I think the whole genre of FPs is played out, I hope they never release another one again. The only one I liked was StarWars Battlefront and thats cause it was StarWars.
The Lion King. As a kid I liked Aladdin more and was disappointed with The Lion King...then I grew up and realized that The Lion King is a much better movie. Aladdin is fine, I guess, it's just ridiculously generic, with Robin Williams being the only saving grace.
For food - onions, olives, pickles, brie, blue cheese, liver, parsnips, turnips, shitake mushrooms, sushi, , and more. Holy hell, I wouldn't touch any of those things as a kid. Now you can't keep them away from me.
Except liver. I guess for that it's less 'like' and more 'tolerate.'
Also Abba. Though there my gradual decline into the depths of Abba was less related to age and more related to the...well, the less than subtle power of those parts that make females females. It was a girlfriend's fault. Or gift. Depends on how you look at it.
Curse.
I used to hate the IDEA of alcohol (I was "straight edge" throughout high school). Now I enjoy responsible amounts, such as a glass of wine or a couple of drinks. I still find the idea of getting drunk a waste of time and money and health.
I used to hate coffee when I was in middle school, eventually got to like it in high school, now drink it religiously in college.
I used to hate exercising, but now it keeps me sane when the stress builds up.

That would be true if you're in it for action. But a first person shooter isn't going to give you much of an intellectual challenge, and more often than not, it's not going to provide a very compelling story either. Like any genre, it has its strengths and weaknesses.
